Traci Edwards, LPC, graduated from Mississippi College with a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling. While working on master’s level coursework, she completed an internship working in the field of forensic psychology where she conducted a number of psychological assessments for individuals who were undergoing trial for crimes committed against society. Upon graduation from Mississippi College, she began working as a behavioral health therapist at Merit Health River Region Behavioral Health, specializing in the adolescent and geriatric populations.
Mrs. Edwards’ primary approach in assisting clients cope with symptoms and resolving current concerns is cognitive behavioral therapy; furthermore, psychoeducation and stress management strategies are utilized in helping clients as well.
